There's more than Mayfest downtown

It isn't the sort of imagery that organizers of these things would want us to use, but this particular weekend is a "perfect storm" of outdoor arts festivals.

Mayfest will fill much of Main Street in downtown Tulsa through Sunday, with hundreds of artists and performers.

A few blocks to the east of downtown is the Blue Dome Festival, now in its seventh year of showcasing local and regional artists. It runs Friday to Sunday in and around the corner of Second Street and Elgin Avenue.

To the north is a newcomer, The Brady Arts Festival, that will run Friday to Sunday in the Brady Arts District, radiating out from the intersection of Main and Brady streets.
